Trip to Compton Verney
The year 12 and 13 students studying Vocational Art and Design were offered a fantastic opportunity by the Education Department at Compton Verney.
They were given a guided tour of the ‘Naked Portrait’ Exhibition and then took part in a Life Drawing workshop. The workshop was exceptionally well resourced and taught with lots of quick exercises to allow the pupils to study human form and shape.
Working with Jacob York
Graphic design students spent a week working with professional photographer Jacob York. He taught them how to use their digital cameras to full effect as well as introducing them to the contemporary photography of David Lachapelle and Martin Parr.
