AS and A2 Human Biology
Course structure
Both AS and A2 have a similar set-up, each with 2 teaching modules and each with practical coursework. The teaching modules are examined externally whilst the coursework module is centre assessed.
At AS, the emphasis is on a thematic approach, in which principles are related to contemporary issues.
At A2, the AS approach continues with additional sections summarising synoptic principles.
