BBC School Report Day 13 March 2008 Year 8 students, who have been working with the BBC, present exclusive news of events happening in the school, in the community, across the UK and around the world.

Today, students will graduate as BBC School Reporters and join hundreds of other schools around the UK to make the news.

SCHOOL REPORT DAY 13 MARCH 2008

The polling day came but did anyone else?
Vicky, Victoria, Faye and James have been down to Shenington today to report on the by-election for the new parish councillor. We have found out that there are two candidates you can vote for. Newspapers have been telling people not to vote because apparently there’s only one candidate, Emma Philcox. The other candidate Nick De Silva tried to pull out but postal votes had already happened and he is still on the ballot paper so he could still win!
