You want to go on holiday in term time?
• You
must fill in a Holiday Request Form (giving
as much notice as possible)
• The school can refuse permission if you have already had lots of time
off
• It is only intended for genuine family holidays |

You feel ill
• Report
to a subject teacher if you are in a lesson. They will decide
whether or not to send you to the community
secretary
• Report to your tutor or direct to the community secretary if
it is out of lesson time
•
You may be asked to sit quietly near the secretary’s
office
• You may be sent to the medical room
• In exceptional circumstances you may be taken home or sent
to hospital |

If you want to go home for lunch
• You
must bring a signed letter from your parents
• You will then be given a lunch pass |

|
If you want to leave the school during the day
• You
must report to the community secretary who will make the necessary
arrangements depending upon the situation
• You must NOT leave the premises without permission, even if you have
contacted home on a mobile phone |

|
You are late in the morning
• Report
to the community secretary
• Sign the late book if it is after 9.05am
• Pick up a late slip and get your subject teachers to sign it
• Give the slip to your tutor the next morning |

|
You are late in the afternoon
• Collect
a late slip form the nearest community secretary and go straight
to your lesson
• Get your subject teacher to sign the late slip
• Hand it to your tutor the next day or hand it to the community secretary
in your own community before you go home |

|
You are on a school visit
• Make
sure you return your reply slip to your teacher and pay your
money at the Finance Office in the Sixth Form

You want to buy equipment
• Go to the Reprographics’ window
at the back of the Sixth Form Centre |
