Useful Guides

Our overall pass rate of 96% again shows how well we support our students across the academic range.

We also had fantastic top-end performance from students who went on to take up prestigious places at top universities, as shown here. Our A-B pass rate of 42% is pleasing and we are proud of.

We are also very proud of the achievements of all our Sixth Formers and look forward to hearing about their future careers.

Higher Education guidance

The vast majority of students progress to Higher Education after their time with us in the Sixth Form. Advising and supporting our students in their next steps is a key part of our Year 12 and Year 13 programmes. We pride ourselves in the excellent guidance we offer and in keeping up-to-date with the multitude of courses and qualifications that are on offer for young people today.

Students apply for university online through UCAS.COM, where they can research options which may include foundation degrees or degrees. It is really important to select the right course and the right university - our tutors are trained each year to help students do this and we run a Higher Education conference in the Summer term of Year 12 to open our students’ eyes to the possibilities and help them achieve their goals.
